Collaborative Care Approaches for Management of OUD
8 CME CreditsPart of the Opioid Use Disorder Education Program
This free course focuses on collaborative care strategies which include: provider roles and regulatory requirements; patient evaluation and patient education; transitioning between medications; potential misuse, relapse and safer use; and caring for pregnant women and other special populations with OUD.
This is one of two courses eligible for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) waiver training hours for NPs and PAs.

This free course focuses on current best practices in identification and treatment of OUD, including treatment and maintenance with different medications, psychosocial approaches to treatment, addressing co-occurring psychiatric disorders and preventing and treating overdose.

8 CME CreditsPart of the Opioid Use Disorder Education Program
This free course focuses on the fundamentals regarding the nature of addiction including: the epidemiology of opioid use disorder, the chronic nature of OUD, the differences between dependence and use disorders and the neurobiology behind addiction. This course also focuses on the changing perceptions and current stigmas surrounding opioid use disorder.
