Dr. Aneesh B. Singhal is Vice-Chair of Neurology / Quality and Safety and Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is Co-Chair of the Mass General Brigham (MGB) Network Stroke Collaborative. He is an associate professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the MassGeneral-Brigham Continuing Care and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, on the Board of Trustees of Neurology Foundation India and is an advisor to MGB (Partners) HealthCare International.

Dr. Singhal’s areas of research include stroke in young adults, cerebral arteriopathies, advanced brain imaging for acute ischemic stroke, and stroke neuroprotection. He is internationally recognized for his work on characterizing the reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome (RCVS) and cerebral vasculitis and for investigating the therapeutic role of Normobaric Oxygen Therapy in acute stroke and migraine. 

He is deputy principal investigator of the New England Regional Coordinating Center (NERCC) for the NIH StrokeNet and site PI of the NIH ARCADIA trial. He has served as the principal investigator of the NIH-funded Indo-US Collaborative Stroke Project and the NIH-funded Phase 2 trial of Normobaric Oxygen Therapy in Acute Stroke. He has served as site PI of numerous NIH and Industry funded stroke clinical trials.
Dr. Singhal is co-director of the Master of Medical Science in Clinical Investigation (MMSCI) degree program and teaches in the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) program at Harvard Medical School. 

Dr. Singhal has authored or co-authored over 200 articles and book chapters.
