Dr. John P. Forman is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and an associate physician in the Renal Division at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received his medical degree at Yale University School of Medicine, and his master in epidemiology and biostatistics at Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Forman is a clinical investigator in the fields of nephrology, nutrition, and hypertension, and has spoken nationally and internationally on risk factors for and treatment of hypertension. He has served as a member of the Hypertension Advisory Group for the American Society of Nephrology, and has published more than 100 peer reviewed manuscripts on research in hypertension, kidney disease and other chronic medical conditions. In addition, Dr. Forman is a Senior Deputy Editor for Nephrology and Hypertension at UpToDate, which is part of Wolters Kluwer Health. At UpToDate, he also serves as a training editor, member of the editorial quality committee and member of the Advanced Clinical Decision Support team.
