Caren Solomon, MD, MPH is a Deputy Editor at the New England Journal of Medicine, where she oversees the Clinical Practice series (evidence-based review articles relevant to the practicing clinician), 2 case series (Clinical Problem Solving cases and Interactive Medical Cases), and articles related to women’s health, as well as those related to fossil-fuel pollution and climate change.

Dr. Solomon is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and maintains a part-time clinical practice in internal medicine at the Fish Center for Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Solomon frequently lectures on manuscript writing and publication, as well as on climate change and health. She is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School and holds an MPH from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship in endocrinology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
