Chief Medical Officer for the Brigham and Women’s Physician’s Organization (BWPO)

Dr. Jessica Dudley, Chief Medical Officer for the Brigham and Women’s Physician’s Organization (BWPO), is responsible for leading physician efforts to reduce overall medical trend and improve quality performance. Dr. Dudley oversees the BWPO’s performance in risk contracts across private payers and as a Pioneer Accountable Care Organization with Medicare. Additional responsibilities include development and oversight of physician leadership and operational improvement skills programs. Dr. Dudley also participates on Partners Population Health Management efforts, and chairs the physician network Performance Oversight Committee where strategic efforts are developed to support the delivery of high value patient care with a focus on improved efficiency and quality. In addition, Dr. Dudley has developed and led physician leadership and operational improvement skills programs across the BWPO. Through these programs, Dr. Dudley has been able to leverage and engage physician leaders in the development and execution of key population health management strategies. Previously, Dr. Dudley served as a Medical Director within the Partners HealthCare System addressing trend and quality performance across this Academic and Community hospital network.

Dr. Dudley also served as Medical Director for Partners human resources. In this role she supported the Human Resources team in the development and management of the pharmacy benefit for Partners employees and their dependents including contracting and on-going formulary management. Dr. Dudley received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her internship and residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA, where she was a practicing primary care physician for 10 years, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
