Director, International Training Program in Geroscience, Semmelweis University & University of Oklahoma HSC

Professor Zoltan Ungvari, MD, PhD, is the director of the International Training Program in Geroscience, jointly organized by the Doctoral School of Basic and Translational Medicine at Semmelweis University and the Center for Geroscience at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He collaborates with Harvard University, the NIA, and the University of Pennsylvania through the Healthy Aging Program. His translational research focuses on developing anti-aging interventions to promote healthy cerebrovascular and brain aging. Dr. Ungvari holds an MD and PhD degree in Pathophysiology from Semmelweis University and has authored over 250 scientific publications.
