How well we formulate arguments, present data and convey messages has an enormous impact on our ability to achieve our professional goals. Our communication skills affect how peers consider our work and ideas, and whether—and how—the public embraces our viewpoints and opinions.
The Effective Writing for Health Care certificate program is a one-year, blended learning program designed to help individuals achieve their writing and career objectives through a core curriculum and one of two specialized tracks. The program’s schedule and learning models are designed to accelerate and elevate communication skills with minimal time away from practice or research activities.
This program has three required workshops. The first two workshops will be held live online and the final workshop will be held in person in Boston (dates below). In between each workshop, participants should expect to spend 7-10 hours per week on other coursework, which can include live webinars, pre-recorded lectures, readings, team work, or capstone related assignments. A schedule of live webinars will be released to participants at the launch of the learning website.
