Program Overview
Leading AI Innovation in Health Care is a postgraduate certificate program designed for health care leaders, visionaries, and innovators. This program equips participants with the tools and insights needed to navigate and adopt rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) technology within health care, ensuring they stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry. Leading AI Innovation in Health Care combines live virtual online learning with a five-day in-person experience in Boston. Participants will engage and learn within one of the world’s most innovative health care ecosystems within the Harvard-affiliated hospital network.
Health care is undergoing a transformation, with AI becoming a core component of clinical decision-making and patient care. The increasing integration of AI demands leaders who can effectively navigate this shift and lead with informed, adaptive strategies. As clinicians and health care administrators become more open to embracing AI, the need for leadership that can guide safe, effective, and impactful AI implementation is urgent.

Program Format
This certificate program is offered in a blended learning model, combining a five-day in-person experience with virtual expert-led webinars, team-based project meetings, and final presentations to a Health Care AI and Innovation Panel. Learners should expect to spend between 2-4 hours per week during the virtual component of the program.

In support of improving patient care, Mass General Brigham is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
