Harvard Medical School postgraduate medical education offers three master's degree programs to address the needs of clinicians, clinician-scientists and administrators in the areas of patient-oriented research, and health care quality and safety. All three degrees combine innovative forms of pedagogy from leading Harvard faculty with an individual mentor experience in a Harvard affiliated laboratory — Master of Medical Science in Clinical Investigation — or with a practical application at Harvard’s academic medical centers and community hospitals — Master of Healthcare Quality and Safety and Master in Clinical Service Operations.
These degree programs prepare clinicians to assume leadership roles in their place of employment and to lead high profile projects.
Harvard Medical School offers a full portfolio of master's programs including both Master of Academic Discipline and Master of Medical Sciences programs. View all master's programs.
