Taruna Banerjee, MPH
Taruna R. Banerjee is the director of Quality Measurement and Improvement in the Department of Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Banerjee received her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College in Massachusetts and her Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York. She has also completed the advanced training program (ATP) from Intermountain Healthcare. Banerjee joined Boston Children’s Hospital in 2013 after serving first as program manager for radiology management at Partners Community Healthcare from 2006 to 2010 and then as senior manager of reporting and analysis at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Massachusetts General Physicians Organization Edward P. Lawrence Center for Quality and Safety from 2010 to 2013. She has an extensive background in managing quality improvement efforts, including program development to improve patient care quality and resource utilization, quality measurement, physician engagement, and identifying and addressing variation in practice.
