Brittany Esty, MD, MPH
Dr. Brittany Esty is a practicing Allergy and Immunology physician and the director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety in the Division of Immunology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Esty completed undergraduate studies at Williams College and then went onto the University of Utah School of Medicine for her medical school, pediatric residency, and chief residency. She completed fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Boston Children's Hospital and her Master of Public Health degree at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Esty is also fellowship trained in quality improvement and patient safety having completed the Harvard Medical School Patient Safety and Quality Fellowship, a CRICO sponsored two-year fellowship program across major Harvard Medical School sites.
Dr. Esty currently oversees quality improvement and patient safety efforts in Allergy, Immunology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology at Boston Children’s Hospital. She also leads cross-divisional quality improvement initiatives at Boston Children's Hospital. She is passionate about quality improvement and patient safety education and is an associate program director for Harvard Medical School's Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety (MHQS) program. She also oversees quality improvement and patient safety education in the Allergy and Immunology fellowship program at Boston Children's Hospital.
