Dr. Blyth-Wilk holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, is a registered nurse, as well as an attorney by training.  She is the vice president of Quality and Safety for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network.  

Her responsibilities include oversight of the Spaulding programs in patient safety, quality improvement, patient experience, performance improvement and accreditation.

Dr. Blyth-Wilk’s prior roles have included nursing leadership positions in varied settings such as acute care, home health and post-acute care.

Dr. Blyth-Wilk obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions, her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

Dr. Blyth-Wilk is also an adjunct assistant professor at the Mass General Institute of Health Professions.  She teaches quality and safety, as well as interprofessional practice.  She is also the past president of the Massachusetts Association of Healthcare Quality and holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) credential.
