Overview

The Master Degree of Healthcare Quality and Safety (MHQS) provides clinicians and clinical administrators with the skills to lead and work effectively in quality improvement and safety initiatives. This one year degree program requires accepted students to move to Boston for the duration of the program. The model of instruction consists of intensive workshops, longitudinal seminar series and a capstone project. The goal of the program is to help students develop the operational skills required to lead quality and safety initiatives within their own healthcare organization.

This program begins on September 4, 2018 and concludes on May 28, 2019

    This residential, one-year degree program runs September through May. In addition to classroom learning, this new program incorporates traditional didactic lectures, case study discussions, interactive workshops, and technology-based exercises. The longitudinal seminar series is designed to complement didactic teaching by placing learned theory in the context of real healthcare environments.
