Dr. Andrea Wershof Schwartz is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School where she co-directs the Medical Education Course for medical students as well as the Aging and End of Life Care Theme. Dr. Schwartz serves as Associate Fellowship Director of the Harvard Multicampus Geriatrics Fellowship and Medical Director of The VA Boston Geriatrics Clinic. She is Associate Director for Clinical Innovation in the New England Geriatrics Research Education and Clinical Center (GRECC) and her expertise includes medical education, Geriatrics clinical innovation and medical humanities. Dr. Schwartz has received numerous recognitions including the American Geriatrics Society Outstanding Clinician Educator award, the HMS Outstanding Faculty Mentor Award, and the VA Boston Excellence in Education Award.
